Representing approximately 3000 students at the Goodman School of Business; The Business Students’ Association (BSA) is a student run organization that allows its members the opportunity to showcase their talents to the community. The goal of the BSA is to allow all Goodman students the ability to learn, apply and grow into a successful generation of business leaders.

The Brock Innovation Group takes pride in providing resources to entrepreneurial minds at Brock University and in the Niagara Region.

Brock Finance and Investment Group (BFIG) is a student run group focusing on capital markets and financial education. BFIG allows students to supplement the education they receive in the classroom with real time analysis and investment decision experience.

Brock University Marketing Association (BUMA) is a student run group with a focus on marketing and branding. BUMA allows students the creative palette to take what they’ve learned in classes in addition to what they learn at our general member meetings to real-life scenarios.

With over 2200 delegates and chapters in over 20 universities and colleges across Canada, DECA U is one of Canada’s largest case competitions for undergraduate students. DECA U focuses on providing students the experience they need to find their potential in the business world.

 

At the Goodman School of Business, DECA U strengthens delegate’s analytical and presentation skills through case analysis. DECA U also provides networking opportunities where delegates are able to meet and converse with industry professionals.

BUAC focuses on providing students with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge they will need to be successful in the accounting field. We hope to provide an enjoyable yet challenging and long-lasting learning experience through carefully selected academic and social activities. We are confident that the conference will be educational and informative for the students, as it will cover relevant and valuable information to excel in the accounting industry.

 

In addition, BUAC provides endless opportunities for students to network and expand their connections – from industry professionals to their fellow peers. A challenging case competition serves as a way for students to enhance their professionalism, presentation, communication and critical analysis skills. Overall, this conference is directed towards giving students an unforgettable experience to learn and grow from.

The Goodman Graduate Business Council (GBC) is the representative student body for both full- and part-time students enrolled in graduate business studies at Brock University:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)

  • Master of Accountancy (MAcc)

  • Master of Science (MSc)

The Goodman GBC executive is comprised of both full- and part-time graduate business students hired in the spring of each year to serve a one-year term. Our mandate is to enhance the experience of all students enrolled in graduate business programs at Brock University's Goodman School of Business.

The purpose of Brock Women in Business is to educate both men and women on the female experience in the workplace and highlight how everyone can make efforts to have more women in positions of leadership. Too often women are affected by discussions they were never a part of. The goal of this organization is to create a new generation of women who can follow in the footsteps of these industry leaders and make pivotal changes in their organizations​.

We aim to develop a community that is passionate and competent in the use of data analysis through interactive workshops, career information sessions, networking events, conferences, and competitions.

JDC Central is a three day event that showcases academic competitions, athletic challenge, social competition as well as a charity initiative

Delegates will compete in academic case analyses, a parliamentary style debate, a sports tournament and a social competition that will test school spirit, teamwork and determination.

JDC Central brings together the top business students in Ontario for a weekend of competition, and a lifetime of memories. Being involved with JDC Central allows you to gain exposure, recruitment or networking opportunities with over four hundred top business students in Ontario, who will be showcasing their skills and business acumen through the weekend in various competitions.
